Turn your Dome into a bread oven or slow roaster with our Rope Sealed Door.

Built from ceramic coated 304 steel and double walled for extra heat retention, the Dome’s rope sealed door makes it easy to control the temperature, amount of smoke or steam in the oven with it’s easy-slide adjustable vent.

Combined with The Dome’s thick stone and dense insulation, the rope sealed door creates the perfect cooking environment for baking, smoking or slow roasting over long periods.

*Do not install the door while the gas burner is lit. Always make sure the gas flame is extinguished and the gas dial is in the off position before installing the door.

Nicely made, seals the Dome opening well.

I added the rope sealed door to my Dome for two reasons. Added flexibility in controlling cook temperatures and to seal the Dome when stored. I think the quality is very good, no sharp or unfinished edges, the damper slides easily and the handle is wood insulated. Very pleased with my purchase.

Works great with my NG Dome and the steam injector! I heated the oven up to high 600’s, turned gas off, put exhaust top on and steam injector in - right after putting the shaped loaf in. Put the door in place. I waited 30 minutes (recipe called for 45 minutes @ 425 in kitchen oven). A beautiful, crusty loaf emerged registering 205’. Atlantic Grill Company ships quickly and items always seem to be in stock!

It’s nice and does what it’s supposed to do but I feel the material is cheap and flimsy.
