The Charcoal Companion® SlowSmoke™ For Hot & Cold Smoking imbues a wide range of food with flavor and moisture! Thanks to its unique design, the SlowSmoke™ works as a source of both hot and cold smoke. Fire up your burners and smoke ribs, brisket, steak or burgers, or turn the burners off and bring out the essence of cheese, fish and other foods perfect for cold smoking. To use, fill the tube with wood pellets and place a natural wax fire starter on the platform under the tube. Once the fire starter is lit, the wood pellets heat gradually from one side of the tube to the other, releasing smoke at a steady pace over two hours. Smoke moves through carefully positioned ventilation holes for maximum contact with your food.
