My first carbon steel pan was Made In. Sadly I didn’t realize they are fairly thin and electric burners can easily warp them so mine does a spin dance now. After looking into other options, since I adored the nonstick of that pan, I found DeBuyer. This pan is amazing and even as a newbie at seasoning I managed to make slidey eggs and wonderfully browned pancakes. Highly recommend.

I'm a relatively new fan of carbon steel. I have a Matfer, but wanted an omlette pan with curved sides for flipping. Take the time to season it correctly and it will be non-stick from the start. I'd pay twice the price if I had to...
