The perfect compliment to an outstanding oven

In can what only be described as bizarro world, I've read a dozen reviews complaining about the cover not fitting when the mantel is in place. Upon further review I've concluded that people are just weird.

The mantel isn't fixed in place and simply requires that you pull it out and set it in the oven before putting the cover on, no different than any of the dozen utensils that you put away after you're done baking pizzas, how hard is that?? Crazy.

Anyway, the mantel is exquisitely crafted and matches well with the oven. Once I decided I wanted it the cost was a non-factor. I mean, no one was forcing me to buy it and getting one is 100% optional, so there is no reason to bring it up as a negative.
